Toyota announces the launch of the Prius+ this summer

Toyota continues the expansion its hybrid technology into new areas of the market with the launch this summer of Prius+, Europe’s first full hybrid seven-seat MPV.

• Two equipment grades – T4 and T Spirit
• T4 equipped with electric windows all round, Toyota Touch touchscreen control, Bluetooth, rear-view camera, head-up display, Smart Entry and Start, panoramic roof and automatic air conditioning
• T Spirit features 17-inch alloys, leather upholstery Toyota Touch and Go Plus with satellite navigation, voice recognition, advanced Bluetooth and on-line connectivity, plus rainsensing wipers and JBL audio system.

Prius+ is available in two grades – T4 and T Spirit.

Toyota will enter the new GT86 sports car in the 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race.

The new coupes will join the Lexus LFA to form a three car team for the race held in Germany from May 17 to 20. The cars will be run by the GAZOO Racing team which has been competing in the 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race since 2007.

The announcement in Japan was part of a broader commitment by Toyota and GAZOO to broaden the appeal of motor sport and foster more car enthusiasts.
